About This Event

The 2021 Dean’s Ride will be held at Keel Farms, Plant City, FL.
All proceeds from this event go to the Plant City YMCA and supports the Y’s Live Strong program for their members and the local community.

This annual event consists of 3 cycling distances:

  • 60-Mile Metric Century
  • 34-Mile Half-Metric Century
  • 20-Mile Quarter-Metric Century

Several exciting changes are planned for 2021 including all new routes for each segment.

The new routes will be traversing quieter country roads North of Plant City.

Riders will be able to enjoy the scenic Plant City countryside and smell the sweet scent of the strawberry fields, along with a few farm animals.

The ride will take you along the beautiful Lake Thonotosassa and several family estates.

Pre-ride snacks and refreshments will be available. Post-ride lunch, music, craft beer and Keel Farms cider will be available for your enjoyment.

Shirt type will be different with a short sleeve style available in both men and women sizes.

The start/finish of this event will be at Keel Farms, located at 5202 Thonotosassa Rd in Plant City.

Keel Farms is an iconic Plant City establishment known for its farming activities along with restaurant and fine beverage selections.

We look forward to you joining us at the farm and raising money for cancer survivors.

Weather Cancellation Policy

The safety of our participants and volunteers is our most important concern and if any of the threatening weather conditions are present the day of the event (tornado warning, tornado watch, thunderstorm, heavy rain or a hurricane decides to visit), the event may be delayed or canceled.

When weather conditions or other physical conditions present a danger to participants, such conditions fall under the label “acts of mother nature,” it will not result in refunding of any event entry fees or future event credits, since funds were already spent in preparation for your event day.
