The Gravel Ride – Long is for the more adventurous and experienced gravel riders. Bonus – this year’s route will take riders through a private conservation area known as Wetland Preserve and riders will be able to view a mixture of terrains and ecosystems, as well as the countryside along the rural roads, Etoniah State Forest, and the Palatka-to-Lake Butler State Trail. The Gravel Ride – Short is for the gravel riders looking for a slower paced and scenic tour. The route will take riders through a mixture of terrains and ecosystems, as well as the countryside along the rural roads, Etoniah State Forest, and the Palatka-to-Lake Butler State Trail. The Social Bike Rides will launch from Coventry Oaks Farm and Event Barn along the paved Palatka-to-Lake Butler State Trail. Riders can enjoy the trail east and west of the event site and ride up to 56 miles. This trail is one of the most scenic rail-trails in the state. It includes views from creek trail bridges, pine forests, wetlands, and wet prairies. |
